I hope its Ukraine/Poland would be a boost to the economy, and let me tell you guys Kyiv, is a very nice city. The two countries are better than Italy, because in western europe its the same every where in Ukraine, Poland its different and awsome

If it's in Poland who's going to serve the food in the stadiums because they're all doing it over here.

Why, whats wrong with joint bids?

Ukraine/Poland surely won't get it, because this is their first bid, and UEFA takes the first bid as a learning process for the bidders. That's 100 %. Italy has advantage over Croatia/Hungary but I doubt that racism in the stands and corruption scandals are doing their bid any good. It will be a close call.

for a while italy looked like a shoe in and i was planning a trip there and everything but now it looks like were letting it slip out of our hands so i have a feeling it we come down to italy and croatia/hungary with ukraine/poland a distant third

The only I don't like about joint bids is that it takes a second spot away from the qualification rounds. (aka, two automatic qualifiers instead of one)

The UEFA Championships aka EURO20__ have 16 entries:
If there is a joint bid, there will be 14 entries, OR
If there is an outright bid, there will be 15 entries

There are just two entries in seven qualifying groups that can advance.
If there are 14 entries and the host qualify, an automatic berth would be placed, and if there are 14 entries and two hosts qualify, there will be no automatic berth placed in any way whatsoever

SO THEREFORE.............

I see any Scandinavian or Eastern European side like Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Croatia and/or Romania

OR............

Italy-France, Germany, and/or Great Britain

That's pretty much how I see it, but I think Hungary/Croatia will get it. Italy's bid almost certainly must have been damaged by the current scandal, and UEFA has also been pretty imaginative in its recent choices: Holland/Belgium in '00 and Portugal in '04 (when Spain appeared to be the favourites).

Yeah. I believe only one country should qualify as host.

Great Britain?? Where would that come in? A joint bid will never be made as that entity. England would bid alone, Scotland and Wales may bid jointly however.

More countries could bid alone, 8 stadiums with more than 30 000 its enough, some nations could build or rebuild the existant stadiums to fill the demands.

Holland could do it and Greece, Turquey, maybe another 1 or 2 nations like Ukraine (in the near future) Poland( near future) etc Even Scotland and Belgium could at least get 6 stadiums(minimum required) with more than 30 000.

If economy allows it in 10 years we could have all this nations ready to make bids.
Even Azerbaijan:eek: tryed to get this Euro its all about Government and Football authorities comitment.

I think that the stadiums should have at least 40000 seats.
A 30000 seat stadium is farily small these days, and certainly not big enough to hold a big game.
