Regarding the second right back, I guess he intends to use Phillip Lahm in that position in case Friedrich is injured or out of form.

I would have thought players like Thurk, Kiessling or Lauth would be a better choice than Hanke.
So we play with Hitzlsperger and Odonkor, but Mehmet Scholl is not good enough.

Klinsmann was also asked by somebody of the press regarding Scholl,
but he replied, that he never thought of Scholl.

I guess Klinsmann might consider using Schneider there, he played that position in Leverkusen if I'm not mistaken.
