When was Pisano hired as a Crew asst. coach? Greg was originally hired in 1996 as a GK coach.
Why wasn't pisano promoted to coach instead of andrulis, other than the fact that jim smith is a ************ing moron.

The anwser is quite simple. It has to do with the fact that Pisano actually has a clue as to what the hell he is doing and by hiring him we might actually be a decent side.

Pisano served as a Crew assistant with the club during the 1996 and 1997 seasons, then spent the last three seasons in a similar role with Dallas (on the sinking ship Dir).
He allegedly played 16 seasons, both indoors and outdoors. He left the land of Argie cheats in 1979 to play in the NASL, MISL, etc.
He also played on the Argie national indoor team with Diego Cokehead.
