U.S.-based England fan needs help!

I've posted this once already, but thought another subject title might help my cause. I'm a Three Lions fan in the U.S. and can't get any games as a result. I was hoping someone in the U.K. wouldn't mind taping the games, and I would fully reimburse them. Personal messages or just replies to the thread would be fantastic.

Are you using the VHS system or an american system on your VCR

Have you tried any of the bars in Boston for the games?
When I was in Boston, I watched the second Greece game at one pub that apparently shows the games.
If you go to www.setanta.com and click on N. America venues, I'm sure you can find a bar near you that shows the games.

Also, buy a multi-system DVD player and buy 'Four-Ever England' from Amazon.co.uk it has the WC 66, Holland 96, 5-1 and Argentina 02 games on it.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll order that DVD today, it sounds great. Boston does have some good soccer bars, but I'm at school in central New York, which is why its impossible for me to get anything here. Thanks for the suggestions tho.

How much does a decent multi-system dvd player run? I've been searching through the amazon.co.uk site and they have some great stuff that unfortunately doesn't work on my dvd player.

Nevada Smiths is where to go in central NY.
Go to the Chelsea site and talk to "Bridge Monkee" he'll give you all the details you need.

They are all usually on Direct TV as well...PPV of course.

I think he means 'Central New York State' the city is a fair way from that, so Nevada Smiths probably isn't an option.

Try www.world-import.com I bought the JVC 600 from them and it cost me $321 including shipping. The converter is internal and it's a pro-scan player.

They have some players by Akai, Daewoo and the like which are significantly cheaper. My friend has the Daewoo which has had problems but she sent it back to W-I and they fixed it.

The JVC is a decent player and has got good reviews from what I've seen. Also, you don't have to input any codes or menu changes. The player automatically changes regions.
