You're all delirious. In 2010,

1) at 38, Zidane will make his 6th come-back, because we will have difficulties to qualify in the same group than Andorre, San Marin, Faroe Islands and Liechtenstein.

2) Adidas chairman will call the federation and say : "we want Barthez". Therefore, at age 39, he will keep the french goals. Commercial contracts with Weighwatchers, Ricard and Marlboro will also be signed, thanks to his outstanding professional reputation.

3) federation will chose the most incompetent coach, because a competent one could win and gain some power. Best ligue 1 coaches will be ignored.

Read on l'equipe . fr

My goodness ! They want Barthez to do some sport, like a mere professional player ? Not him, never !

Come on Nanbawan.... We are the French... We don't enjoy anything... When we are winning we spend the entire time thinking/talking about when things are going to fall apart, and when we're losing... well we're losing.
If you ask the average French person if we won the WC in 98 they'd probably tell you no.

Thats because the disaster in 2002 voided out the original win so...right

Rey made many mistakes in the qualifiers like not starting cisse in that last swiss game. He appears to make more and more mistakes. I have nothing personel against the gentleman but starting barthez over coupet is a huge mistake. It will turn around to bite him in the ass. barthez will be for france as david seaman was for england in '02, sub par. Coupet is a giant when it comes to comparing him to barthez.

As a Korean, i'm rather dumbfounded on how your NT coach chooses Barthez over Coupet.

But i guess it's better for us koreans, facing the crappier goalkeeper.

And that is the clincher in my book. other teams supporters are thankful that a player is playing because he is less qualified than another...

I don't know if I completely believe all the hype about Coupet "storming out" yesterday.

Go to the Getty Images editorial site and look at the 20+ images of todays training session. There's about 5 images of Fabien and Greg in close proximity to each and smiling.
