As some of you may or may not know, Cablevision offers ABC & ESPN in High Definition, but not ESPN2.
Heading into the World Cup, we need that to change.
Spoke with a nice lady with an English accent named Barbara in Cablevision's Programming Department and she described ESPN2-HD as being on their "short list" of channels to add, but they don't know how soon it can be added.
The tournament begins a month from tomorrow. And of the 64 games, 31 will be aired on ESPN2.
Please call Cablevision (whether you are a Cablevision customer or not, just tell them you are a customer) and request that they add ESPN2-HD to their lineup before June 9th. Tell them you are a soccer fan and you want to see all 64 World Cup games in High Definition.
The phone number of their corporate office is (516) 803-2300. Ask to be connected to the Programming Department.
Be polite. Be enthusiastic. This will only take 2 minutes of your time.
