You might contact a local ref instructor who would know refs that just pass their first test and are looking for some equipment to tide them over until they get to the big money. ;)

Blitz,
You may find that both the highest financial benefit for you, as well as the greatest good, would come from donating your surplus equipment to a non-profit. The tax benefit you would receive is often greater than the amount you could sell it for, and the good it can do, let's say for an urban youth program, would be incredibly valuable.
