For me, it was Rio's last minute winner against the dips. :D
Also of note, all the lads wearing the "For you Smudge" t-shirts.
And Citeh going another year with winning nothing. :D

All the ones mentioned above, definitely. Particularly the Pool game because I was lucky enough to be at Nevada Smiths with several forum regulars. Good times. :)
Also I'll add the end of another unbeaten run when young Fletcher put one over on the Rentboys at OT.
Rooney leading the team to another win against Arsenal. I think that after the noncall on the handball, in the past he might have gone overboard and gotten carded or worse, but he kept his cool and played magnificently the rest of the way. A turning point of sorts for the lad.
And for me personally, the games I got to see in person, particularly the ones at OT. Those matches definitely left an indelible impression on me, not just the incredible atmosphere but seeing Rio score live (!) and Rooney and Ronaldo playing so well.

The three moments Achtung listed and the dominating display in the Carling Cup Final.

Fletcher's wonder against Chelsea. Stuff of legend. The biggest play in his career.

Apart from Rio and Fletch's winner, Id have to go for Rossi's first goal in the English Premier League against Sunderland.

Honestly it must be how Fergie somehow got the team on song again, and proceded to go on the long run to where we finished today, after all i have said I know!! He turned things round. Great season lads second best team in Britain.
One thing puzzels me why hasnt some of these Arsenal supporting National Newspapers and indeed the "BBC online" gone rabidly after Wenger. I mean how many points are they behind Chelsea ??? and dont you think if Man Utd finished 24 points adrift the knives would have been out for Fergie
Just look at the BBC site to see what I mean, after all the results today Arsenal are on the Main Home page. Grrr, well done Arsenal you finished 4th the Invincibles.

The reason Arsenal are 'England's favourite club' right now is Champion's League related. They'd never want to sack a CL winning coach. Now, if somehow Barcelona embarass them, well, no, I don't think anything will change. People were calling for Fergie's head at the beginning of the season. It's because everyone hates us.

Apart from the Champion's League being a big plus on this season's CV, I think there's also an element of different expectations. Arsenal are expected to be challenging right now because of Wenger - it's his club (in the same way that Charlton are Alan Curbishley's). Man Utd are expected to be up there in general, regardless of who the manager is.

Yeah, but you have to remember just how we were doing before Ferguson showed up (and indeed, for his first few years at the club). As big a club as we are, no club is one man's club like United is Fergie's... probably in all of world football right now.

Of course - but that's not the perception anymore. Everyone knows what Ferguson has done for the club, but IMO he's done so much that the club's reputation has been rebuilt (especially among those who grew up with the Premiership) and there's a greater feeling that the club & team will be able to carry on whenever he leaves with the right manager, moreso than Arsenal or Charlton who have been held up in their respective lofty positions by their managers.

Beating the Scouse with Rio. Beating the Mafia with Smith/Fletcher. Seeing Rossi start his journey to be the best player in the world (yes I said it, even better than G-totha-D aka Wayne).
