I got news this weekend that I have an interview at Highbury in a couple of weeks for a job as a steward. I am well excited about this and I really hope I get a job there, it would be most awesome.

If you do get a job there, make sure to tell the rest of us what section so we know where we can get away with the most shenanigans!

I passed and will have an induction some point during the summer. They are interviewing 900 people and accepting 500. I am one of those 500 and from that number 300 will start on DB testimonial providing we all pass the induction and then the futher 200 will start througout the rest of the season.

Next match I'm over, I'm SO getting my picture taken with you! (and probably buying you a beer or three, as well!)

North Stand Lower, Block 10 is where you DON'T want to be. I'm well behaved but my mod friend can be awfully belligerent. :D
(And congrats by the way :) )

This seems to be one of those dream jobs that seems better as a fantasy than in reality. Hopefully you'll get to spend more time watching the game than you will guiding idiots who can't read their tickets to their seats or keeping a vigilant eye on wannabe miscreants.

Congrats. That is truly a dream job! We talked to some of the Stewards during the Supporter's Club penalty shot extravaganza and they were pretty psyched about the job.

Hope you get it. All us crazy Americans will be sure to keep you busy with all our big cameras and obnoxious behavior. :D
