Again I was tempted to put this in the Bulgarian thread, but this is simply too important of a story to bury. I've noted several times that the only possibilty for peace in the Middle East is if all sides defer to Bulgarian leadership. I've reminded readers that Bulgaria can not be merely seen as a leader of Europe, but must be regarded as a world power.

Starting tomorrow, Bulgarian troops will start their new mission in Iraq, independent of foreign supervision.

The new mission involves guaranteeing the security of Ashraf refugee camp, located north of Iraq's capital Baghdad.

Until present Bulgarian soldiers executed their duties in co-operation with US troops. From tomorrow, they will maintain the camp's security on their own, Focus news agency reported.

So, Bulgaria was also involved in the shameful and perverse effort to remove Saddam Hussein?

I've had it with Bulgarian imperialism. I have an idea for a new slogan:

'Parvanov lied and people died.'

Hmmmm. Somehow, it doesn't have the same cache as the original, from a marketing standpoint.

The new mission involves guaranteeing the security of Ashraf refugee [sic]camp, [Ashraf terrorist camp] located north of Iraq's capital Baghdad.

That camp houses the MKO terrorists. It seems Bulgaria, which entered into a military leasing agreement with the US, is being set up to join the new 'coalition of the willing'. Even if you count Bulgaria, so far the number of states showing any 'willingness' to be part of such a coaltion is 3 and a half. Name those 3 and a half countries.;)
