You know.....the dude with the turban. He used his mental powers to have animals and other things to help him. The best selling paper comic in Mexico. I used to trade my issues when I was a kid.

Superman might have physical strength on his side, but Kaliman has mental prowess that is second to none. Sure, Superman in his Clark Kent mode wrote for a newspaper, but that doesn't make him mentally sharp (it just means he had a good editor and Jimmy Olsen to take good pictures). Kaliman on the other hand had access to the supernatural and his knowledge of the esoteric would help him defeat the man of steel.
