according to the pregame, Namoff is starting in place of Olsen, who has a minor groin injury.

Let's go boys.

The Rapids are ripe for the picking.

Damn. Comcast isn't accessible for this match for those of us outside of the DC area, so I get to watch the Rapids broadcast (which, curiously, isn't shut out).

Yup, and Colorado's backline looks offly slow on paper.

I thought Olsen was going to play this game...

It's the all has-beens team with Kirovski and Mathis.

It must be an interesting locker room, but as a soccer team I just don't know.

Probably saving Freddy to replace Gomez when he runs out of oxygen.

I still can't get used to the Adidas logo on the back of the shorts. Makes every player look like they don't know how to put on their clothes.

DC with a FK 25 yards out. good spot, Gomez hits the crossbar!

It seems like Freddy is always sacrificed when Nowak adjusts for, in this case, speed. Remindful of the Chivas match. I would have loved to have seen what Freddy could have done in 90 versus Chivas...likewise, I'm worried I'll be wondering the same thing about the lead-footed Rapids. This board seemed abuzz this past week anticipating what could be a real chance for Freddy to shine tonight. Oh well.

DAMN!!! Gomez is snake-bitten on these freekicks. First Sala, now Cannon. Ugh. Third time's the charm, I hope.
