Two that have been mentioned above and two that haven't:
1. Josimar for Brazil against Northern Ireland in the 1986 World Cup. A curving long-range blast into the upper corner.
2. Dwayne DeRosario's free kick for San Jose against Los Angeles in 20??. The camera angle from the other end of the field, in which the camera, the ball and the post were all lined up in a straight row, showed that there were two members of the wall who were positioned wide of the goal. DeRosario still bent it around them and back into the net.
3. David Platt for England against Belgium in the 2nd round of the 1990 World Cup. A stunning volley right on the stroke of full time in a tied game.
4. Romario for Brazil against Uruguay in the deciding game of the 1989 Copa America. A fairly simple goal, but a beautiful build up. Also, it was at the Maracana and helped to exorcize the ghosts of 1950.
All that said, I still liked Dennis Bergkamp's goal for Holland against Argentina in 1998 better than any of them.
