This is the order in which tickets will be allocated by Arsenal America. This is final and I am very very sorry if your name is not where you want it to be. As everyone knows I will do my absolute best to obtain as many tickets as possible both before the game and while we are in Paris. As you have already seen from the generosity of LESTER, tickets do come up and there will be people who want to give to real fans.

Anthony Goodman
Tim Cole - Has Ticket through member of Bigsoccer
Steph Harris
Billy Morritz
Arthur Rego
Matthew Heslop
John Pappas
John O'Toole
Patrick McPhillips Not premium member of Arsenal America
Liam Madden Not premium member of Arsenal America
Ragav Khosla
David Connick
Derron Podd
Tristan Rudgard
As everyone is probably surprised by so few names, I will explain that I set down strict procedure for applications.
Paid membership of Arsenal America as of the 1st April
Must of booked travel already (Any tickets will be last minute - no time to book travel)
Residents of United States (or Canadian Members of Arsenal America) Only.

Many people asked to be put in the draw but after I sent out an e-mail stating this criteria, I got one response back withdrawing. The other 40 or so people didn't bother responding to me at all. At present for some reason I can't get into Paypal to check on paid subscriptions. I will do that when I can and remove the name of anyone who isn't a member.

As I, Andrew and Mike have said constantly - tickets to this game will be difficult. There are many season ticket holders who were not given tickets and so any tickets that do come will be very last minute. I'd appreciate it if I didn't get e-mails, messages etc from everyone. Let me contact you if any come up.

Hi Rick,

I was wondering if you wouldnt mind posting an update where you indicate who has gotten tickets before the game. I'm thinking that this will help us all to understand what we are dealing with prior to arrival.

I'm not sure when the rest of the folks are getting in, but like me, I have to believe that some are arriving on the day of the match. That way, its clear that securing a ticket through a tout is first priority.

I can imagine a scenario where anyone of us is hoping to get a ticket at the stadium and perhaps leaves it to late such that we cant make back into the city and an Irish pub to watch the match with fellow Gooners.

Hope that this request is reasonable and in agreement with you all,
Ragav

I will be doing so. I can cross 2 names off straight away as you will see on the list when Ive finished this post. For some reason my Paypal closed again so I couldn't check another two names that I need to. On a very related matter, I got told last night that I was given two extra by the club for Wigan last minute. (One by a text from a member of staff at 10.50pm!!!! - she was working far too late!!) so this gives people an indication that tickets DO come up last minute. I can't guarantee, but I would say don't buy off a tout just yet unless you have the tickets in hand and get a good price.

Rck I'm confused. Am I not a member of Arsenal America anymore because of membership renewal in April that I was never told about. As I know i'm too late to sign up for the Champions League game because you told me you wouldn't be able to get tickets about 2 months ago do I need to sign up (if i'm not already signed up) to get tickets for the Dennis Bergkamp testimonial (the first game at Ashburton Grove) or can you not get me tickets for this game now either.

Help. I'm totally confused. Ahh!!!

Yeah I am but thats not the point. The point is I signed up to Arsenal America last year and I went on the tour in January and Rick got me tickets for the Dennis Bergkamp Day. I was wondering if I need to pay again for another membership. I was also wondering if he could still get me tickets for the Dennis Bergkamp testimonial at Ashburton Grove because he said he could but now he has said about 1st April I don't know whether he can anymore.

Please enlighten me Rick or whoever else that can.

So you joined ArseAm to get tickets...that fellow 'Yanks' -I'm from the south so that sounds crazy odd- who want to make the trek -which it is for us- could make use of?

I'm hoping I'm misunderstanding something, cause unless I'm mistaken that's pretty much strictly against the point of ArseAm?

Personally, I thought the point of Arsenal America was that it was an Arsenal supporters club for US and Canadian fans. It shouldn't be anything to do with getting tickets as far as I'm concerned. You're right to say it's against the point of ArseAm to join and use it as a ticket vendor, and I do understand that maybe you feel it's a club for American and Canadian fans, but it's wrong to say if someone joined ArseAm they can't have tickets just because they live over here.

I think everyone on this board will say at least once they have heard people complaining that ArseAm get tickets in the first place. Look at how much trouble Rick got into because some British Arsenal fans complained that American fans got tickets. What you're saying equates to the exact opposite of that. We on this board are all fans nonetheless, and (as I said earlier) provided he isn't using ArseAm as a ticket machine I don't think there's a case to answer. That's my two pence.

Come to think about it no I'm not using them as a ticket machine and I think Rick knows that. I have met so many fellow Arsenal fans due to ArseAm. I also feel being in a supporters club of Arsenal just shows myself I am Arsenal through and through.

Of course getting tickets is nice.

If it wasn't for ArseAm I would never have gone to Highbury. Yes I know ArseAm is meant to be for American Arsenal fans but it was the first supporters club I came across and if that is a crime I'm sorry.

Well, not to threadjack this any more than it already has been, but AFC's rules on this are quite clear. We can have "members" from anywhere, but the only people we can accept dues from are US citizens, and those Canadians who were members of ArseAm prior to the creation of Arsenal Canada. It is to those dues paying members that certain benefits are granted, such as access to our ticket officer, who in this case happens to be the infamous Rick B.

I would like to add that I have given some benefits to certain other people from the UK who are on here such as Rich and am happy to do so as it will only enhance our reputation. There are also a few other fee paying members such as Lanesra and his sister who have supported us as well.

I all too happy to support. Met Rick and a few other people on here from Arsenal America and thats how I became a member of the infamous Arsenal America . If I hadn't met Rick I would have probably found something else come along eventually. Thats not the point however, I'm more than happy to be a member of Arsenal America now and support them as much as I can (like the 5 a side tournament). If that means helping me to get tickets then fair enough but as everyone can see I not in it just for the tickets i'm in it to be a part of Arsenal in some way or another.
