One question for anyone who remembers Fletcher in the reserves, not counting yesterday: Was he ever the best midfielder at that level?

I can't answer that, but I do know that in CM 00/01 (Fletcher was 16 at the start of the game) he was a goalscoring-from-midfield monster ;)

i think it was that same version i signed tommy smyth to united and he couldn't stop scoring for both club and country from the attacking midfield place. the good old 3-5-2 just couldn't be stopped! that should put you're cm reasoning into place. :D

Last game of the season, We've basically thrown away our lead of 2nd place, needless to say its a must win, Curbishley will look out to go out on a bang so I don't think that he will park the bus, I much rather have Oshea playing mid Flecther, is just too invisible during the game at least oseha gets a few decent passes in. since ruud does help train Rossi from what I hear I think it will be a good partnership in attack and we could snatch something, If it doesn't work we could always bring on Saha but he is not effective sub past 70 minutes,
