TALAVERA DOES IT AGAIN. CHIVAS LOSES CUZ TALAVERA MAKES ANOTHER MISTAKE. I THINK WE SHOULD PUT MICHEL IN GOAL INSTEAD OF TALAVERA. TALAVERA LA ESTA CAGANDO Y FEO. IF CHIVAS GETS ELIMINTATED ITS CUZ OF HIM.
MICHEL SHOULD BE THE GOALIE

Chiva de Corazon, you are new but giving results away in a thread is cardable offense. Next time put an R in the title.
And take off the Caps Lock or your posts are going to be deleted.

Talavera has had enough of an opportunity to show what he's capable of, and it hasn't been much. He's had some good stops, but his fvuck-ups far outweight the positive. Denle oportunidad a Michel! Ya es hora!

I thought Talavera was playing out of his mind in the Super Classico a year ago. He showed flashes of brilliance and displayed his athleticism and reflexes in a way that made you think he was going to be special. He made a terrible mistake in the air that cost us a goal but I attributed it to youth, inexperience, and the pressure of playing that all important game. Unfortunately it was a percursor of things to come.
The goal he gave up was bad judgement compounded by bad form. When you challenge an attacking player that way you have to get squared up and get down quickly, much like a goalie in hockey, so that if he chooses to strike all he hits is your body. He got down waaay to slow and attempted a pitiful swipe as the ball passed by him.
I think a change is in order.

People wanted valdo out? wow... anyhow, I say give Michel a shot. can't get any worse now can it? damn i miss oswaldo. remember back before ese classico (donde talavera stopped a pk from quasi), remember when he was just an unknown face on the bench, expulsavan a valdo, entra por diez o quince minutos, y le metian gol? remember? cuz i do, i remember a monterrey game, entro y gol, COMELON! y ahora ese regalo, y a sandoval?! chin...

You never trust talavera, how do you expect he do a good job. If you can not use Oswaldo, you call Corona, maybe the fault is from the defence... Oswaldo is a good goolie, that is why you do not feel it. Blame BOFO, he just stop chivas to do something. He also make problems. (and he just got red card and make time against Chivas)......Talavera is not that bad!(ok!!...is not that goood but still ok)

Michel didn't have much work today, but the stops he did make, were enough to keep Chivas afloat. I'll stick with Michel from now on, Talavera just doesn't have the character to be Club Deportivo Guadalajara's goalie.

Michel is 6' while Freddy Talavera is 6'2"
I don't mind it, he's shown he's competent on crosses in the box so I'll stick with Michel through the remainder. Did anybody catch that fake throw by Michel in the Velez game? He faked he was gonna throw a ball out to his defender but a Velez guy got in the way so he did that fake throw, and thrust thing that I remember doing when I was a kid. This dude brought it back, I hadn't seen it in a long time and it cracked me up.
