Well, we all knew this was coming. I can't defend him here. Even if he didn't truly land the elbow, which most everyone I know feels he did, I feel the intent and danger was enough for the suspension.
Hope you get a laugh at the end of this article......

Wörns Gives Kiessing A Mouthful After The Incident - Wörns Accused Kiessling Of Faking Injury
FRANKFURT, May 4 (Reuters) - Borussia Dortmund defender Christian Wörns has been banned for four matches for elbowing Nürnberg striker Stefan Kiessling in the face last month.
Wörns knocked Kiessling flat with an elbow that blindsided the Nürnberg striker as he was looking across the pitch for a pass in a match on April 22.
The German Football Association (DFB) suspension means the Dortmund captain will miss the final two matches this season, against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday and at Bayern Munich on May 13, as well as the first two matches of next season.
Wörns was dropped by Germany coach Jürgen Klinsmann earlier this year after he criticized some of the Germany coach's decisions. Wörns has since become one of Klinsmann's harshest critics.
The DFB also upheld a three-match ban on Werder Bremen's French midfielder Johan Micoud for grabbing Scheisse 04 defender Christian Poulsen in the groin in a match last month.
Micoud discovered that like Scheiesse players of the past, Poulsen has no balls, resulting in the lighter sentence for Micoud……….
(I couldn't resist!! :D )
