Hey guys, sorry to create a whole thread about this, but i figured i may get enough feedback concerning it. I, in the Bahamas, currently have an option of subscribing for Setanta Sports. However this would cost about $11 per month. I was just wondering if this channel was good, or it doesnt make sense to even get it. Thanks for the feedback!

I don't have it, but believe most think it a good deal. It typically shows all the PPV matches. You can go online and there should be program listings. Look and see what is on for this week and it will help give a flavor for what they show on a regular basis.

I don't have it myself only because I have cable, but everyone I know with it says it's a must. Think about all the CL matches you get to see as well as FA Cup and other things. If you have that, FSC and GolTV you are set.

If I could get it, I would.. but you should definitely wait until next season at this point.

I have it. I love it. It showed all of Arsenal's group matches live, even the one at FC Thun. In fact, counting the couple on ESPN2, I've seen every CL match of Arsenal's live on Setanta.

I watch it all the time. Last year I canceled in May and resubscribed in Aug to save a few bucks. May do that again if they don't have any world cup shows.

Got IT!!! Definetly worth the money (especailly when my 16 yr old pays for it!)Between FSC, GOL and Setanta I'm surprised I'm still married. It helps when the kids like watching too.

I think I am going to be switching over to Direct TV for next season so I can get Gol and Setanta to go along with FSC.

I was reading that Setanta is bidding on a bigger Prem package for next year, taking games away from Sky. I wonder if Setanta will become even more desirable if that goes through.

I'm hoping that DISH network will sign a carriage deal with Setanta. Last I heard was that they are in negotiations.

Get DirecTV. Like Billy has said before, it's a goldmine for soccer fans. With Arsenal TV on Gol, it's worth the money for that alone.

I've got cable and get FSC and Gol. Sure, it'd be nice to get Setanta, but I don't think I'd pay 12.99/month for that one channel, as I've got more than enough soccer right now.

I have it, and really enjoy it. They have lower division coverage of English soccer. And fantastic rugby coverage - -its really the only channel that covers any rugby anymore.

Ok, the thing is I only have FSC and ESPNI. I dont have Gol.

I was skeptical at first, but it is definitely worth it. They get a lot of CL games, qualifiers, friendlies, etc.

well, setanta just won the rights to 46 prem matches starting in 2007 so there's another reason right there to get it......eventually

Well I guess your decision is already made but I too have it. Worth every penny especially for the CL games. Thank ya now...Roscoe!
