This could be excellent, or it might suck completely.
It's very hard to do remakes. The only drawback to the original was that it was a little slow. So a six part series should have much faster pacing.
So Goodsie, did you watch the original in '67? I remember watching it with my brother and cousin every week. It was good fun, and some of the best TV in an era of nearly unrelieved dreck!

I'm afraid not, but I did watch individual episodes here and there throughout the years.
About two years ago, I finally decided to watch the entire series at once (or at least in a few days time). Click here (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2770556#post2770556) and read the following 3-4 pages of that thread. :)
The marathon was so worth it! :D

Fun show to follow. Weird twist, not entirely sure it made sense. But Ian McKellan is a brilliant actor.
