Well finally a performance that most of us Bayern fans can be proud about. Almost everyone played their roles, and did quite well. Demi did a good job in the cb position, Lahm played ridiculously good at LB, Lucio charged like a mid even tho playin CB, Sagnol had a good game. Santa Cruz played like the attacking mid we have been asking for quite a long time this season at Bayern. Pizarro finishes, and could of almost had another two goal performance picking up his pace. Schweini had a great match as well :) And not a bad display between the pipes for Kahn. Overall it was a satifying match vs Stuttgart. Lets hope we can keep this going against Kaiserslautern and pick up our Bundesliga title saturday. I am feeling a 3-0 victory for Bayern. Hopefully Magath will be smart and let Santa Cruz play attacking mid again since he is pretty hot since he has came back. Owen also plays a great attacking defensive mid, you dont really find to many of those with what he can do.

Great win for us!
Kaiserlautern drew today. The next match against them may not be as easy as it appears. But I edxpect our boys to keep winning until the last whistle of the season.:)

'Lautern DESPERATELY need a WIN (to leap over Wolfsburg to stay in the 1. BL), while we only need a tie. So something tells me they'll play harder. The fact that they'll play harder will be counterbalanced by the fact that we're the better side, so this thing has draw written all over it.
2-2.
20. Bundesliga Meisterschaft!
2. Consecutive Double!

With Ballack in the lineup I expect a 2-2 draw.
Without Ballack in the lineup I expect a 2-0 win.
See because we do not hear about Ballack in fights or arguments with teammates we think everything is fine and he is not complaining. But at the same time he is not being a leader helping our other guys to play better or step it up. So I don't really care whether we have heard things about him or not. All I know is on the field we play a more bland style of football and that our results are more so close matches that end up in draws (and that is the good result), and our other result is usually a thumping which pisses almost everybody off. Without him it is prooven we can play and we have a better win percentage too!

i just dont see magath not playing ballack. he will be playing against kaiserslautern because he does not want to risk anything. then ballack will get his last match at home against dortmund to "say goodbye". i just hope dos santos will play at least once. magath only used two subs yesterday, i dont think it would have done any harm to play dos santos for the last five minutes...
anyway, bayern should wrap it all up against lautern!

If magath has any BALLS he would sit No.13 and play with the same squad.
I dont even think Santos was listed as a sub for the last match. But after so much talk it would really be a waste not to give him a run out after so many months. I mean common how long does it take to get up to speed unless hes totally useless.
Magath do the right thing, i know youre out there. BENCH HIM PLEASE

Why? Michael is just as much part of the team as anyone else....
I'm sure you realize that his goals were a vital part in this seaons double.

I'm pretty sure they were less vital when he wasn't around considering we play more as a team and are more dominant without him. Yes he scores goals, but when players play worse around you than good with you i think there is a problem

last i checked it think we've got about 23 players, and we know that he is not goin to be around for next season so what is so wrong with seeing what the other 22 (exculding those with injuries of course)can do.
They've proven that they can play FOOTBALL without him, so y not. As far as i can see the team performs alot better right now without him in the line up. They play with more energy and more determination so i say why not.
Let his save him himself for Chelsea and the WC ;)

Some say all this Ballack-bashing is just an elaborate psychological defense mechanism on the part of Bayern fans, a means of protecting themselves from the hurt and sadness caused by the loss of a former fan-favorite.
Okay, so this is just my personal theory :D

ever since his disappearance during the milan legs, i say fock him. i thought he was always a part of Bayern, if not the heart of the attack. but when the rumors go on for several months and ballack's name isn't mentioned by the announcers during the match, that means he isnt doing anything productive. and it didnt help the only time hearing his name was links to chelsea or real madrid. it was nothing against those clubs, but when it appears that he turned off the go switch during those two legs and ever since it seems he is saving himself for somebody. ballack and sagnol have even been my favorite players the past couple of years, so its like when i see my guy just turn off what he brings to the table, it makes me not like him. and i feel everyone here has the right to their opinion on this issue.

Oh come on man, he did well in the first and scored one of the goals of the tournament. Again, you're putting all this weight on him, it wasn't HIS fault only.

according to bild.de ( yes i know:rolleyes: ), santa cruz will be playing attacking mid tomorrow again. ballack will be playing in defesive midfield since hargreaves is not playing because of his 5th yellow card. demi will still be playing CB for ismael.
dunno if this is true, but it does make sense

From the looks of it, it will be
-------------Makaay-----Pizarro--------------
-------------------Ballack--------------------
---Ze Roberto---------------Schweinsteiger--
--------------------Ottl----------------------
---Lahm-----Lucio-----Demichelis----Sagnol--
--------------------Kahn---------------------
On the bench: Rensing, Lizarazu, Jeremies, Scholl, Salihamidzic, Guerrero, Dos Santos, Santa Cruz
I think we are going to atleast see one of them, if we are winning we might actually see both. I think it will be a 3-1 win even tho Kaiserslautern really needs the points.
