That was a scene from The Street. Jim Broadbents character wants to commit suicide, so he has the idea of upsetting some fans in the hopes they will beat him up. He picks on a group of United fans.
So your funny clip ain't quite so funny.

What makes it not so funny? I mean, I don't find it classic or anything, but how does knowing the situation surrounding the clip make it less funny?
