I had a pissed guy come up to me at the Globe a few weeks back to tell me how great this place is and how I have to check it out. I was born in Milwaukee, so I think I'll have to go visit Grandma someday soon and check this out.
And everyone in Milwaukee knows it as simply K Street.

Hey, isn't "Milwaukee" an Indian name? ;)
In all seriousness, the pub does sound cool!

Yes, Steph, it is. In fact , it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

SCHWING!!!!!!!!!!:D
I was born and lived in Milwaukee until I was about 25 do I guess it's been 12 years since I've been there, but I remember it being referred to as KK.
Actually I just asked my mom who is visiting from Milwaukee and she said KK.
I'll have to check it out for a match when I go back to visit in September.

And since Mike Meyers was in Wayne's World, there's a seven-degrees-of-seperation thing? I see.......

Glad I'm not the only one who called it KK.
My brother's been to the Highbury pub, and had great things to say about it.

I was thinking more along the lines of English pub, movie about an English "spy" connection. Both work for me though!:D

I'll have to ask my Brother if he's ever been there. He usually hangs out on Brady Street at a plce called Joe Cats or something like that. Me I was an Eastside guy - Hooligans, Vitucci's & Lanmark for the most part.
I'm going to stop in September to check it out.
