Choose your partners and limber up those wrists, boys and girls. The inaugural NYC 'First Touch' Foosball festival is upon us.
Sponsored by Carlsberg, several New York City venues will each host an evening of thrills, spills, and entertainment as 24 teams of two players battle it out for the right to become Foosball legends of New York.
Participation is free and is open to everyone of drinking age.

“It promises to be a fun series of events,” said Carlsberg spokesman and festival organizer Brian Mahon. “Each team gets to play at least three games. There will be win bonuses, drink specials, World Cup hi-light films to get you in the mood, as well as prizes and giveaways donated by hummel and Eurosport. The main thing is for people to have a good night out.”
Each venue will host their tournament over the course of one evening. There will be a round-robin phase, with the winners advancing to the knock-out phase.
The overall winners on each night will receive their own trophy.
All participants will be automatically entered into free raffles hosted by the hummel girls. Prizes include soccer shirts and apparel provided by hummel.
