Since we get our USMNT roster announced today, I figured it would be a good time to see what other Screaming Eagles will be heading to Germany next month. So much of the World Cup is meeting fans from around the world, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few familiar faces too. After all, we have to show everyone that American soccer fans aren't the backward cretans they expect us to be!
I'll be in Germany with my father between 10 and 24 June. Flying into Hamburg on the 10th, I'll be based in Frankfurt between 11 and 17 June and in Heidelberg between 18 and 23 June. We'll be flying out of Munich on the 24th. There also will likely be a trip to Berlin stuck in there somewhere.
We have tickets to the three US prelim matches and will likely also be at the South Korea - Togo match in Frankfurt on the 13th.
Any other Eagles going to be around?

There are a bunch of us! I'll be there with Atouk, danid & Publius, Victory, Bison1997, Mike Lastort and his wife, revelation & his wife, and a few other fabulous non-Bigsoccer-posting people. Atouk & I have tickets to the 3 first US games, and he has a ticket to the next round as well. We are also going to a few others - including South Korea/Togo I believe. I know we're seeing Togo play somebody.
All of the above mentioned people will be staying in Cologne, except Atouk and I will be in Cologne the first week, and Wurzburg from the 18th on.

Wurzburg from the 18th on.
Very nice! I lived in Wurzburg one summer during high school on an exchange and it's a great small city.
If ya'll are going to the South Korea-Togo match in Frankfurt, let me know as we I can probably meet up with before/after the match (I think it's an afternoon match, 3 pm or something).

Overall, Carolinab and I have tickets to six group round games (I'm staying for a few more days and have a conditional Round of 16 ticket if the US advances). Tickets for two of our games arrived yesterday including South Korea-Togo. We'll be in the Yellow Sector, West Tribune, Block 39K. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up for a beer before the match.

I'm going to US vs Czech and US vs Ghana games. Maybe a group of us can try and get together before a game.

Why would they think that?
Or are you really from Crete?

Yikes! Let me rephrase. "backward cretins"
I don't mean to slander the people of Crete.
Also, Atouk, I'll post my ticket locations here once we get them. We'll probably have to pick up the South Korea - Togo tickets on site in Frankfurt.

I sent in our check and application to be a SE yesterday.
My son and I will be staying in Heidleberg from June 16th-22nd. We have tickets for the Italy game in K-town and the Ghana game in Nuremberg. We are staying in Nuremberg from the 22nd and attending the round of 16 game at that venue. Hopefully we will also be attending a round of 16 game for the US.

I muttered this under my breath sitting at the dinner table in Castellina (a small town in the Chianti region of Italy) and I'm sure nobody else at the restaurant could understand the laughs at our table....

I'll be based in Stuttgart, and I'll be at the June 12 match in Gelsenkirchen. My German fruend and I plan to ride the train into town that morning, and I'd love to hear about any plans to meet up before the game. Or after the game.

Are they sending our favorite Cavemen (http://www.printculture.com/index.php?itemid=545) to the World Cup? They would definitely fit right in....

I will be in Germany though me and my wife have no USA tickets. We got south Korea tickets so we will be following them around for two weeks. We plan to try to make it up to Gelsenkirchen for the first USA game.
We wanted to hold out for USA tickets but wanted to make sure got tickets to justify going to Germany. Hopefully we can meet up with some of you that were going to be in Frankfurt. Or else we may see you in Gelsenkirchen.
We are going to be in Frankfurt June 9th to 15th
Munich 15 to 17th
Liepzig 17-19
Hamburg 19-22
Hannover 22-24

Greg, you may want to pop over to the US WC Travel boards. There you can see the list of everyone in your block/row. Here is the 5th page of the US/CZE seating (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=347016&page=5).
They're organized by block, row. Seat number may be too granular.
