I tried to make my first real Fort experience loud, but I'm kind of a puss and will be as loud as the people around me. After we scored the winner, I was cheering loud and blistering my hands by clapping so hard, but before that I was pretty much talking loud and clapping regularly. I enjoyed it a lot and learned a lot of the songs lyrics. You would be surprised at what I though the lyrics were from halfway across the stadium:D
Yesterday wasn't our best performance I think.

The Fort had about half the people as it did for the DC and HOU games. That may have had a lot to do with it.

eh. not sure, maybe 9 or 10th?
the Rev Army guys seem to be a couple of rows behind me.
i can hear both groups pretty well. really the perfect place to start a chant. im usually allways successful when i start a chant from that area. easy to be heard by both groups.
We must be sitting next to each other.

To implement any of these ideas, communicate them with others before and after the games. It's nearly impossible to get everyone on the same page via a messageboard.
Lots of good ideas, though.

There definitely are a lot of good ideas on here, I can't argue that.
Some of the stuff is just really difficult to implement. Anything I can help with, I'll definitely try.
Now if only the Revs would score goals in front of us (including when it's not raining) so we could throw the damn streamers.

I think everyone should bring a flag pole and hide it in their pants, then everyone busts one out, let's see them stop us then:cool:

Oh I wanna be the first to say it!
"Is that a flag pole in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

Just happy to see you;)
Maybe we could walk in with crutches disguised as flag poles. Would anyone be interested in a petition to get that rule dropped? We look so bad on TV because all we have are scarfs and our flag. I mean when KC look better than us on TV, then we have a problem:(

couldn't disagree with a statement more than that...when our section has everyone holding up our scarves (see last years pics from 10/29 v Jersey and 11/5 v Chicago) we look awesome...granted it would look nicer if a few flags were waving around but no way in hell do "We look so bad on TV" because of it
also how many times have you watched KC on tv to say they "look better than us on TV"?

You're right, KC don't look better than anyone..ever! I was just making a point that the stadium rules give us a bad look to some other people. Sure I don't expect a Section 8 type of performance, but we have the same passion and heart that they do, yet we get the shaft from other fans claiming we aren't that great when they know very little about us.

right, I am just saying for what we have it looks cool. I have heard praise from other team supporters I have met (Dallas, NY, Rochester, KC) and if some dont like how we look? who cares? DC fans are in their own little world who think their "support" is amazing and everyone else sucks. meanwhile they wear black to US games and throw glass bottles at women and children and I can count the supporters I meant who are cool on one hand...their opinion about our section doesnt mean a thing to me
<cliche lines gotta have some patience, good things come to those who wait /cliche lines>

You can't call Barra Brava fans, if you can't make up your own name for a supporting group, then you are retarded. At lease the Revs fans made something original.
I'm not saying we look bad, it's just disappointing when you think at how much better we could be. Also, I had an idea. We could pull an El Salvador and throw Red Bull cans at the NY players next time they come up here:p

But, seriously, though. the Wizards have The Mystics who are in The Cauldron? :D
If the FO just let us have flags, I'd be damn happy enough. If we had that option available to us, I'd be pretty much all set.
Just imagine it:

Believe me, we can all imagine it, but entertaining the notion at this point is a complete non-starter. Mark Briggs, the head of security at Gillette won't allow it, while Craig Tornberg has repeatedly argued how dangerous they are.
As much as I'd love to see it, and no matter how it may look, it's not going to happen.

That's funny, are you aware there are something like 5 billion groups with "ultras" in name too? :D

I think they all went to same school. We heard same thing (and still do for away games, speaking to Chicago guy at the moment... :/)
Unfortunatelly it's not even close to more ridiculous things RFK staff came up with (like your banners burn the grass if they touch it, you can't bring in hot air ballons because you might put sarin gas inside...) it's no wonder they get ignored when they're so silly :D

People here dont understand that in the fan world you need to break the rules to succeed! Fans everywhere in the world deal with these issues as the security people wont allow anything anywhere. Just imagine the whole world listening to their security like we do...ccc...sad thought!!!
