Wow, this fixture snuck up on me. I know that SAFC were a much easier opponent, but thinking that our beloved Gunners are going to waltz into The City of Manchester Stadium and take all 3 pts without out a fight from The Citizens...you must be joking. MCFC are very inconsistent, but they can be effective on occassion.

Maybe Cole gets the nod in this match, but I'm not holding my breath?

Arsenal still need Sp*rs to stumble with a loss or mathematically 4th place is impossible.

My prediction: I think Arsenal will be level 1-1 at HT and find a way to win in the 2nd half...2-1 to THE ARSENAL!

Go on Gunners!

I'm with Catfish. Given Citeh's poor form lately, Stuart Pearce is going to make sure Citeh play hard in this fixture.

I agree with Catfish on the scoreline.....However something of interest is that only Arsenal have something to play for in this match.

With Man City having nothing to play for, I'm going with 2-0 to us. I'd expect Clichy to start again and Cole to maybe get a half with a view to playing the full game against Wigan on Sunday.

2-0 to the Arsenal sounds about right. Gilberto back in the middle this match or is Flamini recovered and in the rotation?

And Catfish, Sp*rz need to either a draw or loss (not just a loss) for the Arsenal to be able to overtake 4th.

at least lauren isn't in the first team to bang one in our net.

Ah, thanks for the info. I had a gut feeling that was the case, just wasn't certain.

Anyway, here's to Sp*rs losing anytime.

I like 2-1 to the Arsenal, didn't look super sharp vs. Sunderland.

Just avoid injuries and get the 3 points. We got one necessary win, now we need 3 more.

Come on Arsenal (and W. Ham!)

As an aside, does anyone else think it's ironic that a local derby rival controls (to a certain extent) the fate of it's two nearest neighbors? Who has a bigger rivalry with the Hammers, us or Spuds, or is about the same. Maybe this is another thread all together.

Cheers,

Are the hammers playing at white hart lane?

Are the hammers playing at white hart lane? No, it's at Upton Park. I presume West Ham is gonna rest some people.

I'm sure you're right. I suspect we'll see a very gutless West Ham team against Sp*rs. However...it is their last home match, is it not? So maybe...they can put in the performance against Sp*rs that they did against the Arsenal...twice this year.

I would say Sp*rs, but West Ham detests Millwall and Chelsea.

Earlier I thought if Teddy played he wouldn't want to score against his old team, but then I remembered that Bobby Zamora was also a Sp*r and didn't enjoy his time there. He's going to be up for it since he could very well start the FA Cup final if he turns in a good performance, especially with Ashton touch and go.

I hope The Hammers faithful are out of their minds for this London Derby and crush THFC. I still think Upton Park has one of THE best atmospheres in all of England.

I'm with ya. This is our bogey match in the run up. Losing Diaby for this really bites.

Chin up, some rogue Citizens supporter may be lurking. Diaby is young, he will bounce back. Look at Pires after a career ending injury.

Diaby is going to run like a duck when he heals?;)

I'm afraid with minds on our last game at Highbury and the CL Final, we will be making hard wrk of this game. I'm with Catfish for his usual 2-1 score line. Although I have a feeling it will be last minute.
Last away game (home for Judy) that we have to go to this season. Thankfully next season holds two less Brummie trips and a trip to Reading which is just round the corner. Sorry Judy, but I really hope Watford make it through the play offs!!!

I dont know but I have a decent feeling about this one....A better one than I would normally have. I think it will be 1-0 to the arsenal but city wont really be in the match...
