Okay, there has been quite a bit of animosity in this forum. It's to be expected of course. We're all facing each other in the mother of Cup of Cups! I figured I would introduce a little NSR into the clique that has participated in this forum. It's open to anyone of course.
I'm curious as to what people drink in your homeland. Mainly, I want to know what great beers and liquors are produced in your country. I would also love to know which are exported so that I may try them sometime.
I'll go first.
My favorite beer is: Negra Modelo. It's a dark beer which I'm partial to and I absolutely love it. Not pure bias here, I just think it's the best beer ever brewed.
The other obvious export from my country is Tequila.
My fav is: Cazadores, although I also enjoy Patron.
Tequilas can't be made anywhere else other than Mexcio...so what, if any liquor is only brewed or processed in your contry?
I would love to know.

What's that drink we Portuguese drink with baked chest nuts? I can't remember the name but it ends with "inha".

Since I'm American, I'm going to forego the obvious and just keep it to my own state: Colorado*.
Beer: Fat Tire (http://www.newbelgium.com/beers_ft.php) probably tops the list. Brewed in Fort Collins, it's a medium-dark microbrew which is pretty signature for the state (like, say, Shiner would be for Texas) and it's pretty friggin' good for American beer. Me being a full-time drinker of Guinness, that kinda says a lot. It's also the most widely-available Colorado brew outside of state lines, aside from Coors, obviously.
Liquor: no clue. Never really touch the stuff.
Thanks to Nacho for starting this thread. I've travelled a bit and done my own sampling of drinks abroad; I'm going to watch in eager anticipation now!!!

Post what you plan to drink during the 3 group maches of your team:cool:
Mexico vs Iran - I'll probabbly go for a couple 40 oz "Carta Blanca" beers and about a 4 12pks of "Tecate" along with some tacos("asada" or "al pastor") esilo callejeros, to enjoy the game with friends
Mexico vs Angola - A couple cases of "Tecate" and "Miller Lite" along with chips & salsa
Mexico vs Portugal - A couple cases of "Modelo" and "Tecate", some "Hornitos Tequila Reposado", nachos, chicken wings,
Also add any particular snacks you might have:D
I'm taking time off work so I won't have to worry about going to work drunk the next morning:D

You can thank Bopper78. He created a thread in the Mexico NSR forum a while back which I really liked. Thought it would be cool to introduce it here. There's a bunch of good stuff in that one too, since it's been up for quite some time.
I'll definitely be on the lookout for some of the beverages introduced thus far. Echo, have to agree about Fat Tire. Also one of my favorites.

I tried to find pics of all the selections so far, but couldn't find one of Jurpiga. I'll need Portugalia's help on that one.

I don't think a pic of Jurpiga can be found. In any case here's a pic from one of my favourite light reds.
