releasing resale tickets?

hey

anybody know how we can release resale tickets?

one of the guys who was meant to come with us isnt going anymore so he doesnt need hi tickets.

but when we try to release them, it says cannot release resale tickets.

thats pretty stupid on behalf of fifa to not allow this.
im sure there are plenty more people who may be in the same situation.

things change and people cant make it.

why does fifa have to make things so difficult!

Correct. Tickets bought through the resale phase can NOT be re-released.

I'm in the same situation. Well I actually hope your freind is better off than I am. I have to find takers for the 2x Cat 1 Tunisia TST-4 I'm holding onto. It pays to read all the fine print I guess. I'm looking for Spain to Win big, Tunisia not to make it and France to come in second. In this situation (I'm leaving before the potential 2nd rounder) I'll be selling.

because fifa have not allowed us to release resale tickets, they are pretty much forcing us to sell on the black market.

FIFA probably assumes that almost all of the resale tickets are coming from the "blind" phase one and that almost no one would need to resell tickets bought in the resale.

I'm guessing their rational is that this soon before the start of the WC, if you weren't sure you could use the tickets, you shouldn't have bought them in the first place.

I agree with you, though, that it (like so much else with this ticketing process) is too inflexible.

Also remember that the only reason we have the ability to resell and transfer tickets at all is because a German court mandated it. They never wanted this possibility in the first place, so it's not surprising that they wouldn't go out of their way to make it easy.

I put tickets up for resale more than 24 hours ago. Still not sold and I still have the option to revoke the resale. They are not listed in the ticket shop. Why are they not reselling my tickets? I can't think of any logical answer to this.

I'm in the same situation. Released two tickets, and I've seen two tickets for that game on the resale board, but no indication in the self-service site that a resale has occurred. Has anyone successfully resold tickets? If so, how and when do you find out that the resale happened?

im going to give fifa a call and see if they can do it for me.

cause its pointless wasting these tickets.

we could just sell them which is what we might do if we can get them released.
i mean we have no choice.

So you can't RESELL resold tickets.. but can you transfer them? Also, if you buy a ticket and then transfer it, does it still count toward the 7 game limit?
