View Full Version : Official Arsenal CL Final Shirt sales information

I guess in line with many of you, I am eagerly anticipating the release from NIKE of the official commemorative CL FINAL shirt with wording.
If any of you have had the opportunity to look at Liverpools Reebok offering last year, it was stitched on, and not pressed and they looked VERY nice.
So if anyone has heard anything on what Nike will do, and when it will be released, please let me and all of us here know.

Personally, I'm gonna hold out for a bit and see if anything turns up from a more official or reputable source (subside, Nike, etc.) if I'm going to buy one before the day of. Notice that these are HOME shirts, and AFC has already made it clear we'll be wearing AWAY shirts in the final.
Those are still good-looking shirts if you're just dying to have something to wear before matchday, though.

We are wearing yellow - that's confirmed on www.arsenal.com.

I imagine that a lot of the "unofficial sellers" will have stuff on their stalls at the Wigan game.
I would expect the half Arsenal/Barca scarves will be on sale at the stadium on the day.

hmm i saw those as well, and i think that these guys are just trying to profiteer from it.
as pryz said, we are wearing our away kits.

I wouldn't have bought one of those either, really - but I was still surprised to see them.
I would, however, try to whip some up if I were, say, the relative of someone with a football shop or a really kickass sewing machine. :) Not a bad job other than that whole "away strip" thing.
I've sent an email to a friend in the UK who gets a LOT of player-issue stuff from the Club. We'll see what crops up before the Final...

There are already plenty of scarves and matchday programmes for the final up on eBay. Caveat emptor, but I'd think there's a far better chance of getting one of those that's "the real deal" at this point vice one of the Final shirts.
Then again, can't go wrong taking up a fellow Gooner on the offer! :D

well, this is the final update..
I have been searching endlessly on EBAY and arsenal.com...
and anything else i can find...
there will be NO authentic Champions League FINAL game day shirts with commemorative wording (ala Liverpool last year) sold to public before the game begins which is in like 17 hours time...
I really think they dropped the ball on this....
and seriously hope that they release one after the match is played.....
sigh.... pretty bummed out......

First, it will be a yellow shirt. Also, the match should read Barcelona v. Arsenal, not the other way around. Barca are the 'home' team and would be listed first.
The shirts will come out after the final I'm sure.

hmm, that seller (or another) does have the jersey with the same stitching on our away jersey. What makes me skeptical about those jerseys is the numbering/lettering is the EPL style instead of the CL style. Anyways, they still look good...If Nike comes out with more of these through subside or somewhere else like they did after the FA Cup, I'd be more than happy to buy one...
In the meantime, i'd love a scarf (tried one via ebay but couldn't win it), so anyone whose in Paris, I'd be more than happy to paypal you the money right away.

these bnwts are bogus shirts... its just some guy who has a computerized sewing machine....
its a crap job... can't even get the colors right....

it should be barca first since they are home team....
don't know why anyone would pay 160 bucks for shirt that is only worth 50... and he can take it down to his local sports store , and have them stitch the same exact same thing for like 20cts per letter....
