Maybe I'm speaking out of school here.I viewed the short "doc" regarding the 2006 opener with D.C. v N.Y....but without the audio. Was that actual overall "fan" violence or voilence between a few hot heads after too much to drink? With the exception of the actual violence it looked to be just high spirited fans enjoying their beloved sport,as fans should be allowed to do,as I wish we were allowed to do here for the Rapids. No disrespect to those fans involved(for either team) I would like to view again but this time with the audio.Still,it could be worse...I'm familiar with "rivalry" between other "firms" be it for West Ham(my pick for the F.A.) or any others for any other team in any other country.Anyway...my 2 cents. cheers.

that footage mostly showed the back and forth between fans in the stadium--which was certainly booze fueled (red bull dropped their fans at a club before the match with an open bar and the united fans had tailgated). there were some morons (just a couple) who attacked some red bull fans in the parking lot after the match which wasn't really captured on that video.

Eh, why be scared? I think there is something piped into the water here in Denver that makes fans much more um, placid.
Okay, not the water, more like the air. I doubt anything would go down even if it was pressed.
Seriously, have you seen our group? They are more inclined to critique something you have done more, rather then fight back. ;)

The answer my friend is the whether? Have you ever been to NY or DC? People want to kill each other - it's the WEATHER!

C'mon, biting sarcasm and layered irony are the darts, sharpened coins, and brass knuckles of the new  hooligan!
