Anyone else find it a little curious that in the video for "21 Things I Want In A Lover" (in which she sets the bar for her suitors rather high), the combination of bad hair, bad lighting and pedantic attitude makes her look really unappealing?

Now THAT'S ironic!



(For the record -- I like a lot of Alanis' work, including this song, and she generally looks better than that.)

Say this about Alanis .... when she showed up, I thought she was the complete corporate tool, a Brittney Spears for the Grunge/ Grrrrl Rock generation. But she's gotten better with each outing. Her songwriting has really improved. ands clean is a really terrific song, I thought.
