Not sure how true it is, but I read in the WR forum that Rooney is out 6wks, maybe more. Any truth to this?

I saw the report on match with Chelsea this weekend www.premierleague.com that said Rooney injured his ankle and is reportedly out 6 weeks. Not sure if the recovery time has changed or not since Saturday.

This is really sad. I was watching the match live and was really disappointed.
I thought that he would be one of the brightest stars of this world cup and it is a shame that he will not see action unless England goes deeper into the competition.

England still has plenty of talent, but it would have been nice to see thier full strenght squad. I always want my team to face the best someone has to offer. I'm sure many others feel the same way. Hopefully Mexico gets far enough to possibly face England. I'ld love to see that matchup. Good luck, and good night.

He's out now for certain, Sven may not say it but it's obvious with the injury he has, multiple fracture means he'll be out for 3 months atleast. May even miss the start of next season.
