This was posted by a new member in another thread. I think it's a fantastic idea as it will save a lot of redundant questions tomorrow...


phase 5 Tips !
I know it's not related to the conditional tickets program, But I can't open a new thread because I'm new...

What do you think about openning a new thread discuss on phase 5 tips.
I know there is a lot of guys here tried to get tickets on phase 4, but stuck with some problems, like the one you're on the waiting list, and Fifa telling you not to refresh the page beacuse you'll lose your queue position, but every time you click on the "next try" link, you see the same message.

So what would you do when you'll see this message ?
Can I open multiple windows, try to get several differnt tickets ?
If I see the red "Error message", do I give up ? Or I still need to press the F5 button ?

what do you thing about this idea, I hope it's could help some guys in here.

Yes. Opening other windows even in languages that you can't speak will also help you get tickets, aslong as you already have a user name and password.

No. Open up another window and keep looking for yellow games, but keep the red error message and refresh constantly.

You need to give up, or continue to press on the refresh button ?

Another 2 questions:
1. If I see a game that is green, that means that several peaple can purchase this ticket at the same time ? (That's not happen on the yellows)

2. If you see several games you can purchase (yellow/Green) at the same time, it is recommand to check just one, or to check them all (up to seven) and click "next" - and then fifa will take me to waiting list of all of them, and when one ticket will be free, I could purchase this ticket ?

Jaja, you're talking about the conditional sales phase. Phase 5 is 1st come, 1st served, so if you see green, so does whoever else is looking for tickets...1st come, 1st served is the rule here. There is not waiting list here, you just get what you get....if you're lucky.

In fact, when you think about it, tickets shouldn't be available for games that are yellow either. If conditional ticket holders really do get priority then tickets should only appear if there is a conditional ticket waiting list of zero people for that match.

Resale tickets are returns from persons.

The conditional program is only for returns of hospitality packages, FA's of participating counties and other organisations.

The conditional tickets aren't 15% more expensive either...

So, exactly what are we expecting at 12CET?

The second conditional phase ends.
A second resale phase begins.
Phase 5 ("normal" tickets) begins.

Is that right?

Presumably, for resale tickets where the originals have already been sent, there will be a delay (while they get sent back) before they appear for people to buy, yes? So maybe there won't be much resale availability for a few days?

And there shouldn't be a lot of "normal" tickets because they would go to the conditional queue.

So at 12CET we get to see buggerall?

I dunno, I'm just guessing. What do you all reckon?

i would assume its resale tickets and possibly tickets released by fifa when they finalise all other stadiums.

Some of the old links from the old Phase 4 thread might help. They were to resale tickets for games / categories that you're not interested in, stuff like that. At the moment they don't do anything at all but maybe soon they'll get you a Red Error page or some sort of foothold in the site. Maybe.

Well, this one could go two ways:

1) There will, indeed, be loads of buggerall tonight; or
2) Optimistically, there didn't seem to be much indication of "finalising seating arrangements" in the last round - the big "late" ticket night was apparently caused by a company called ISE returning 50,000 hospitality tickets (which I thank tham and all their progenitors for, coz I got Brazil v Australia tickets when they did it). So, maybe the last week gave them a chance to do the seating arrangement thing, or a general stock take. Oh (as he noted later) its also resale tickets for which payment got screwed up etc.

You may fell enthused or depressed as appropriate.
