its not like it was his choice not to leave last year. Contract is contract.

He could have made a case, he publically stated that he wanted to stay, as if it was INDEED up to him.

Nothing would have changed with Chelsea would he have left before the season began anyways.

With Josip Simunic injured, I'd like to see us go after Huth on loan.

I'd love that...

Currently, the rumors are that Fulham and Wigan have expressed interest in Huth.

He'd be better off staying in the Premierleague. The refs there are more lenient when it comes to tacklings. He'd pick up too many yellow cards in the Bundesliga.

A few of the newspapers today are saying that Wigan have agreed a £5.5m transfer fee. However, the player may want to wait until after the world cup before moving.

If he does then we'll go after someone else.

Both sides are gambling on Huth's performance in the world cup then!

If he can prove himself, then he will get a host of other choices.

we used to watch bundesliga in kenya for free until 2004. too many goals, i guess the players of bundesliga are not serious. it will be good for Huth to play in the premiership because Bundesliga lacks pace

So, is there any other German defender who is worth the 5.5 million pounds that Wigan and Everton are offering for Huth?

Good to have him stay in UK as he so much prefers to so that he will absorb the experience there, nothing more nothing less than that.

The EPL market has been hyped up imo just because they can gain access to a global market and becoming more well off. Huth could have worthed half of the 5 mio in the BuLi. And Rosicky should have asked for 10-15 mio Euros but tragically for BvB to sell him for half of that to Arsenal.

There is sometimes just no comparison between the health value of an orange / an apple.

I think the joke is the 5.5 mio pounds for Huth. This is money down the drain.
I'd rather pay 20 mio for a player like Rosicky.
