During my stay in Germany I've got to get from Cologne to Munich. I see that those nice people at www.bahn.de have a special offer for people with match tickets:

The Weltmeister-Ticket enables you to travel inexpensively to "your" match and back again. Depending on the distance, the fares to the different venues cost 54 EUR, 74 EUR and 90 EUR for a 2nd class return journey, reflecting the years in which the German national team won the World Cup in Bern, Munich and Rome.

Distance........................fare
up to 200 km.................54 EUR
from 201 km - 350 km...74 EUR
from 351 km.................90 EUR

Reflecting the years that Germany won the world cup??

I'd rather walk!!

They have another ticket for Germans that gives them half off any train ticket up through a certain date. And every game Germany wins extends the validity of that pass. That's right, as if there needs to be more at stake...
