I figured that since the prospects for a San Antonio team went down the drain, and I have an implicit responsibility to support MLS, it's come time to actually start supporting a team. I've never really liked Dallas, and as an Astros fan (my mother is from Houston), it's always been my penchant to favor the squad from Houston.

I got a lot of good info from browsing the MLS General & MLS N&A forums. People in the Houston forum are pretty good about answering newbie questions as well so feel free to ask.
