It's official. Look for Red Hook kegs all season at the SE tailgate, but tomorrow, for the match against Dallas, it's a double-shot of extremely high quality keg beer.
In one corner, Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale. In the other corner, Red Hook IPA (thanks to our good friends at Anheuser-Busch and the Pour House).
Let's get it on!

I just like to have an environment where that sort of stuff is acceptable if someone besides gocaps is invovlved :) Although I know Lisa wouldn't mind, and whatever makes her happy .... ;)

:( Can't say I really liked either one... oh well. Would love to see Old Dominion Lager make a comeback, but that's not looking good with the Red Hook deal. Got to give a hand to all those who got the deal with Red Hook completed though and the banner looked great!

I thought both beers were fantastic. Then again, I like hoppy beers.
An option for people who don't like the beer that's GIVEN AWAY FOR FREE - bring your own.

I'm wondering since Red Hook is out of Seattle, how did it survive it's journey? It's not like it's got preservatives in it or anything.

A-B has a brewery deal with Red Hook where they brew Red Hook beer for distribution in a variety of nationwide locations.

Well, that was the Red Hook IPA yesterday - it was essentially picked for us when the deal came through Friday, and we'd already bought the Tupper's earlier in the week. As I understand it, we can have different kinds of Red Hook beers throughout the season - that's a lot of options.

Having spent my college years in Washington state I can speak with authority on the subject of Redhook. They (Redhook) describe their Sunrye (a summer ale) as a "lighy refreshing ale to slay a summer thirst." The only thing it will slay is your tastebuds, the stuff is awful. The rest of their beers are great with ESB and the IPA at the top of the list. Nice job eagles and I will be sure to enjoy whatever is served next game.

My favorite beer is "free beer"!
