Changing payment method

Hi all, I've got another payment question. I have 2 France-Korea tickets that I bought in Phase IV and are currently marked as unpaid bank transfer. I then made a conditional ticket order with a credit card. I now want to change the payment method for the France-Korea tickets to credit card, but under Change Payment Method credit card is already selected. Do I need to just email FIFA to ask them to make the change or is there some other way to do it?

I did the same with some tickets bought about a month ago, originally marked as bank transfer -- I called them and they said they would charge the card, but only a Mastercard for tickets purchased in Phase IV -- so if you used another card for condtional tickets, it may not work. However, they still have not charged my card and the tickets show as "Not PAid" even though I talked to them on 4/12.

I called them too, and they have said to me that you can pay for phase 4 tickets with Visa or Mastercard, it does't even matter if it is a cc or debit... They also told me that they're going to charge the cards at the beginning of next week...

Have you had your status change to paid? I phoned them over a week ago to swap a set of tickets from bank transfer (which I must have selected by accident after putting in my cc details) to the credit card details they have used for previous tickets. Still no sign of the status changing and I am worried they will release my tickets.

Anyone?

same here, status not changed yet, money not taken from my card yet, I'm somehow happy that I'm not the only one in this situation... They told me they will be doing it at the beginning of this week, if they won't do it tomorrow I'll call them... Moreover, I wonder how will they take the money from my account if they didn't ask for the 3 digit check number from the back of the card...

I called them up yesterday 9:00CET. The lady i spoke to said it will definately be by the end of the week. She hinted at Friday being the day.

Im in the same boat as all of you, and they did not take my 3 digit pin
I did call them last week as well and she promised the tickets would not be released and that the charge would be done at some time this week...Hopefully we see it soon

As the others said, no, I did not need the 3 digit code -- a good thing for me -- my card (my only Mastercard) got "eaten" by an ATM two weekends ago. I've been waiting to get it replaced until they charge my card.

Hurry FIFA, I'm running out of real cash.

I had exactly the same thing happen.

Selected bank transfer for a yellow cat 1 france v togo ticket in phase 4.

Ordered conditional tickets with visa at the start of the 2nd conditional phase.

Emailed customer service who said because "I had changed my payment method" indirectly by ordering conditional tickets then my visa would be charged.

My status in customer service in the last hour has turned from unpaid to "paid" and I think my visa has been charged.

Irony is, I can't go to this game any more and was hoping to just not pay the bank transfer!!!! Now i will probably just offer it at face value to someone in Germany when I'm there rather than release it, wait to receive it and then have to pay more money to post it from Australia back to Germany!

Anybody notice that the exchange rate jumped almost 5% since last week. If FIFA had charged my card last week when I switched my payment method, I would have paid $23 less. Brilliant.

Has anyone been debited in the last 4 or 5 days? If so, when did they have all the info they needed to bill your card (i.e. how long was the delay?)

Here's one for the ages: I just realized there might be a limit problem with the card I initially used (some fees and limit adjustments I wasn't made aware of by my bank and just discovered an hour ago.) They're probably going to try to charge my card tonight, so I tried to switch from my Visa Credit Card to my Visa Debit Card, but the system wouldn't recognize my Debit card number with right expiration date, so I tried to switch back to my credit card number (because there's still a chance that it'll go through- I just wanted more insurance), and it would take the old card number back, so now I'm locked in by their STUPID F*$&ING Customer Service Portal with no one answering the phone these days and returning email at least 3 days late, with a number from one card and an expiration date from the other, and their promise to cancel my order if there's any problem processing the payment info!!!!! The message I get is "Errors have occurred: Please verify credit card information !" I know the info I'm trying to input is correct; I'm staring at it on the F&(*ing card! :mad:

Anybody have any ideas? I've cleared my cookies and tried again. I've even called my Bank's customer service to see if I can pre-authorize a payment with the amended expiration date! :confused: If I don't get to see Holland play on account of this techicality, ze Germans have really overstepped their bounds! :mad:
