What do my English friends think about this appointment? I'm quite upset as I would have though O'Neill was your man. Afterall, it would be about time that we had a chance to run your country for a change!

I must say that My choice would be the same as your, though I'm prepared to give anyone a decent chance. Even Stomper.
What happens if darling Sven wins the world cup? How do you follow that?;)

What a mess the idiots at the F.A. have made of trying to appoint someone before the World Cup.
What is wrong with them? A complete and utter cock up.

To true they look like a bunch of fools. Reminds me of West Ham when they announced Mclaren as manager. Talk about egg on your face.

Speaking of McLaren - looks like he's your man now (according to the latest reports).........

Curbishley would be my first choice. He did wonders at Charlton on a small budget. They play good attacking football and he learned his trade at the best academy in the league.
Plus he is looking for work!
McClaren would be a waste of time and space.

Let me get this straight TH. An Irish West Ham fan living in Toronto... and I thought I had a weird background.
It doesn't matter what any manager has done at club level, this will have no refelection on what they can do at International level. Money is not an issue, making do with limited resources is not an issue and even being a good manager is not an issue. Do what your told and pick the superstars.
S0d it, just give the job to Stomper.
