England 2006 World Cup Champion
Arsenal 2006 CL Champion
Middlesbrough 2006 UEFA Cup Champion
Why??
England gets the best European team and South American team ever won the WC held in Europe once.
Arsenal has miracle run so far. They are the La Liga killers this year. So Barcelona is next.
Middlesbrough went to through determination. They keep making comebacks. This type of team will win.

Hope so. Unfortunately I wouldn't put money on any of those things individually at this stage, let alone having them happen together.
England are a contender, but would have to be third or fourth favourites at best. I would favour Italy and maybe the Netherlands over them from within Europe.
Arsenal... this is shaping up as a great and very even final, but after seeing that tough struggle against Villareal I have to favour Barcelona.
Middlesbrough - ahh, Middlesbrough. Nothing would make me happier at this stage of the season than to see them lift the cup, what with three Australians in their squad. Maybe I lied... I would put money on them. But they have a couple of injury worries. I'm worried.

Mate you'd get laughed at if you lived in England with those comments. England haveby far the most talented individuals in Europe, it wouldn't surprise me if Shitaly didnt get out their group. The real final as I've explained several times, is the semi between England and Brazil.
As for Arsenal and Boro winning I think that's on the cards as well, and it would be a fair reflection on the world game if all 3 could win.

I'm not saying they're not strong possibilities, and I actually said I probably would go with Boro in the final, although Sevilla have been quite formidable. But even if you disagree I don't think it's unreasonable given form to say that personally I favour Barca with the edge over Arsenal in the final. Similarly I don't think putting England 3rd or 4th as favourites for the WC is at all ungenerous.

Well you could just as easily say Spain to win all 3. Their national team has a lot of talent, Sevilla and Barcelona are favourites imo.
I just hope Barca win, they're by far the better team.
Boro maybe deserve to win the UEFA for having such great comebacks in the last 2 rounds. All out attacking should be rewarded.

Spain has plenty of talents, but the code of the team is very young. So this might not be their year.

Who knows, when you narrow things down like this and have such a calculated prediction, it tends to backfire.
I hope you're right about this though although I would prefer Germany ahead of England in the WC BUUUUUUUUUUUT I gotta be realistic.

Now rooney is out the WC England's chances have plumetted, along with Owen potentially not fully fit either.
