But actually the old one is going into retirement. Thing is more beat up than NYRB. The new one is idential to the old one except is slightly bigger, with goat skin. :eek:

The heck with discussing the drum...where did you guys get that smoke? I'd have sworn that you had a smoke machine over there. Smoke went on and on and on...semi-obscured the game for a while.
Very impressive...although it looked like a few of you guys in the front were choking a bit :D

While impressive from a far it nearly got the entire section closed. So here is one Norteo vote for NO MORE SMOKE BOMBS!!!! :mad: :mad:

I agree on ending the smoke bombs. Besides that one was so rancid it interfered with my singing.

We definitely don't want that! :D
I've told the guys not to bring them... whoever the "guys" are.. :rolleyes: I specially have been sending emails and links to Stephen Zack's post on the subject. I guess they're not listening. We'll just have to talk about it at the next home game, before we go in. Word of mouth might be the best way to get people to stop bringing them.

wasn't this one of reasons for split from Barra (smoke, beer and rowdiness), next thing you know there will be 4 groups :D

Rowdiness and beer (even though I don't drink) are just fine with me. While the smoke bombs look really cool from other areas I don't care for them. Especially in my section as they stink and they are fire hazards as we throw streamers and TP. What was annoying is that earlier in the week Stephen had warned all of us thet RFK was going to crack down on smoke and yet we still had &%$#@ who did not listen. I am curious if the same empty the section threats we made to Eagles and Barra, Saturday after they also set them off. Bottom line is i will get run for my actions but not the actions of others that I don't sanction. Not that I weild an power but I will CYA, especially since at most games I bring my step-son and must remian responsible for him.

But yeah, you guys probably ought to quit using them. RFK is going to start cracking down on them, I think.
