Another Saturday, another game. I don't see us pulling off a result with the way we've been playing and all our injuries.
On the good side, it's Queen's Day in Amsterdam so I'll be drunk loooong before kickoff.

An article on the Everton website said that Moyes is FINALLY going to start some of the young players. Turner and Anichebe were named, as well as some Icelandic guy. Maybe Ferrari will get a start? VdM for sure.

Seems like playing Boro right after a cup fixture is as good a time as any.
3/9 Boro 1-0 Roma (UEFA Cup)
3/12 Charlton 2-1 Boro
3/15 Roma 2-1 Boro (UEFA Cup)
3/18 Blackburn 3-2 Boro
4/6 Boro 4-1 Basle (UEFA Cup)
4/9 Boro 1-2 Newcastle
4/12 Boro 4-2 Charlton (FA Cup)
4/15 Portsmouth 1-0 Boro
4/20 Steaua Bucharest 1-0 Boro (UEFA Cup)
4/23 Boro 0-1 West Ham (FA Cup)
Just two days for the emotion from yet another stirring comeback to settle before hosting a decidedly listless (jaded?) Toffee squad. Maybe those young legs can inject some life.

Bjarni Thor Vidarsson is the guy in question, a centre midfielder.

What with several injuries and Boro not giving a crap about the league any more, this would be a good chance for a result. On the other hand, I guess, not that it matters to Everton any more either.

Yeah, I'm thinking this one will be pretty unwatchable.
0-0 would be probably, but I'm just hoping there are no new injuries.

It looks like the fans have lost interest as much as the players. :(
btw, I'm good and drunk. Taking a short break before heading back out for Queen's Day.
