And what happened to them.
It seems history is about to repeat itself in Houston.

Opening up some old wounds with this post, even though you probably don't realize it.

What's going on in Houston?

And I'd like more info about La Doce as well. I came along well after they were gone.

It appears that nothing much has changed as GS, although LaDoce itself has been gone for several years. Confrontational security policies & overresponse are the norm for almost any situation. I do see this at other GS events as well. You rarely see one yellow shirt, usually 5 or 6 respond to any situation. I've seen as many as 20 respond to a fight during a Jets or Giants game. I've also seen heavy-handed responses inside the arena. The philosophy seems to be similar: when you come, bring a lot of guys with attitudes along.

Not sure if you may know this since it may not be popular outside of SA..but La Doce is actually used by several fans...they are "12th man."

La 12 was a group of mostly Argentine, Uruguayan, Peruvian, irish, and El salvadorian members who formed a supports club in 1999... until 2001... We were told by Nick the PIG that our "fan support" was no longer wanted.... And since then LA12 is a distant memory... and a old wound yet to be stitched for OLD ESCers....
