Don't know of any place that will definitely be showing the match. But try calling a few places from here...

Of course, the cup final has to be on my wedding day. I'll be in my bride-to-be's hometown of Hackettstown, NJ It's out in the middle of the wilderness as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully, my hotel's bar will show it too me or I can watch it in my room.

erm...
Wedding day?
Football?
Dont mix mate.Either change the date of the wedding or get the FA to rearrange the cup final. Try to watch the match on your wedding day and you will have the shortest most acrimonious marriage ever. Promise
I guess, if she's into football, a romantic trip to Cardiff MIGHT be on the cards, but you'd really need to work at it.
Oh and dont try to watch the match on your honeymoon either; that's not what you're expected to be doing.
Oh and remember once you're married...
Your wrong, she's right, your sorry and you'll do it tomorrow

The match is at 10 and the wedding is 4. surely, I can fit that in, can't I?
What else beside getting dressed and showing up do I have to do?

Besides being so much in love that you cant think about anything else apart from the woman youre marrying. Apart from that I had to feed my in laws, and if I'd watched football my mum in law would have got very tight lipped and polite. There is nothing as frightening as a polite mum in law

The best thing would be to let my wife answer that. But there is no way she would even speak to a man who would think about watching football on his wedding day.
Of course youre being totally reasonable but
I think its hormones
You can never win with hormones

My fiancee doesn't seem to have a problem with it and she can be totally unreasonable from time to time. She's not afraid to speak her mind.
I'll ask her again just to be safe. ;)
...I still need to find a place to watch the game anyway.

I solved this problem by scheduling the wedding in October... 21 to be exact and even at a later time so I can catch atleast half of the MLS game that day.
Ok, it was her idea to get married in October but it still works out well.

I would not be surprised if there was a pub or bar that was showing it in Asheville. It is a fairly progressive town for being in the mountains of NC. If nothing else, a quick road trip to Winston is only about 2 hours.
Wasn't there a website for soccer pubs once?

Dont get married in the football season. Dont get married during the world cup. I think there is a window of opportunity somewhere around May 15th:)

I will be in Cardiff that day. Waited 26 years not going to let a little matter of 3000 miles get in my way of being there. I even had my flight booked before the Semi-Final. What is that wonderful word DESTINY. I still can't believe it, it is every Hammers fan's dream come true and I'm so glad its not Chelsea. I'm sure both sets of supporters will do their clubs proud. I just hope they let us play in Claret and Blue.

The Grasshopper is a good joint but it won't help me here. I'm gonna be an hour drive west near Pennsylvania. The nearest place on Setanta's website is 20 miles away from where I'll be. I could be in trouble.

Yeah, but isn't your bird a football fan as well? I think I met her briefly at the England vs Columbia tailgate. Seems you have chosen wisely young Jedi.
