Well, who is it?
costarica

None. I think, as ridiculous as it may sound, that this spot should be vacant right now.

based on the choices, i would say that the best striker has to be wachope from costa rica, i have seen this guy play, and he is awesome. I would say that he was the major reason costa rica made it to the WC, and expect steve sampson to use wachope extensively, and to depend on him greatly...i think that the reason the american strikers are being voted by is because a whole bunch of americans like me frekent these boards.
that is all....

Call me a homer, but having Onandi Lowe and not Radzinski is a bit odd.
McBride will have to score a few more in the Premiership to prove he's not a flash in the pan.

You can call me a homer too...Don't know if Rad is the best but I would think he deserves to be in the top 6!?!?

Stern John and Dwight Yorke should get a look. I like Stern John personally.

How can Lowe be on the list and not Radzinski and Dely Valdes?
For my part I pick Radzinski right now. Pre injuries both Mathis and Wanchope were better.

A simple question requires a simple answer:
Clint Mathis

Where's "the Fish?" El Pescadito Ruiz just had a hattrick in the Nations Cup in Panama and just happened to lead MLS in goals this past season, the most noteworthy one of those winning MLS Cup. He's got my vote.

I would not put Wanchope there unless this is "before they were injured". I agree that this spot should be empty since none really deserve to be above the rest at the moment. But, if I were to vote I'd say McBride. Shaun Goater deserves a mention though

C'mon man you can't always ask about who is the best and then you name someone from your country be realistic there are other forwards who are much bigger, better, faster, determined, etc. than this guy for example Borghetti, McBride, Ruiz
Ask this question in 3 years and I'm possitive my answer is going to be Freddy Adu.

Tomasz Radzinski

In terms of all around forward, without a doubt in my mind, Landon Donovan. Ruiz a close number two, but he is more of a pure striker. And, to please our Canadian friends, Radzinksi at three.

Paolo Wanchope can have an honorable mention.
Dwight Yorke deserves consideration.
But, Donovan gets my vote.

Have you ever seen Ricardo Fuller IN his prime???
Fuller has the ability to beat defenders
Borghetti doesn't
Can't say much about Mcbride hasn't seen him play in a long time.
As for Ruiz- he is not a footballer he is a swimmer. the only thing he does best is to dive.
