Champions League? I'm not sure when that was. Everton haven't been in the CL in any of the years I've watched (last 4 or 5).

When he was with Aderlecht he played in the Champions League. He and Jan Koller were the strikers together.

Are you trying to say that McBride wasn't good enough to play more than 8 games??

No, just saying that ever since McBride left, Everton's sucked...

Actually just to clarify, Radz didn't score against the Scots, that was De Rosario. But he did score twice against the Swiss in St. Gallen, in addition to his strikes against the Finns & the Czechs. He's scored 4 goals in his last 5 games for Canada, all on the road against decent European teams, and yes, could have had a hat-trick in Ireland. He seems to miss quite a few chances at club & country level, but he does generate quite a significant number, especially for a player who doesn't have a great midfield behind him at club or country level.

Donovan. Why? He has done so much in such little time. I agree with anyone that says Landon has not done it in a top-flight league. Fine. But is there any bigger stage than the WC? No. Landon has competed and performed on WC level. He will get his chance in the EPL.
