WE9 is a great game, but what's the deal with the false names of players of some teams (Holland, Germany, all classic teams etc.)
It's really, really annoying and I don't see any humor in it.
Anyone know how to fix it?

Konami couldnt get the license to use the names. There is no fix besides fixing them yourself, or getting an option file over the internet, but that requires some other odd gadget that not many people have.

It's a licensing issue - unfortuanelt the only way to fix it is to eiither change them manually or download them from a fansite (which depending on the platform may need certain equipment).

I hear people talking about MaxDrive on the WE forums... is this what people use to download option files? If so, I saw one at EB Games the other day.

Just edit them ur self its not hard....takes 5 mins....the first letter of their last name are given....USA is also not in the game.
I can post the correct rosters if you wish. Just tell me a team.

The weird thing is that it used to have almost all the real player names even if the teams they played on were not licensed. I just got it today and was suprised to see that the USA player names are all fake. Did they lose the FIFPRO license?
And where can I find a list of the correct names?

If someone could help me out that'd be great! I'm looking through Real Zaragoza and I can't find Deigo Milito. Is he simply not there, or is his name changed? His brother Gabriel Milito is there, but I wan't Diego for my Master League. :D

EB Games carries MaxDrives? Did not know that, I'll have to pick one up. Yes, that's what people use to download option files that are already edited.
