Hi all,

I just got WE9 a few days ago. Very impressed so far with how smooth and subtle the controls are, except that I have a problem controlling the square button to shoot at the goal. They always seem to shoot way high into space! Any tips? I've tried messing with the direction buttons and shoulder buttons (R1, R2, etc), but still have a real hard time getting the players to shoot at the goal instead of at birds flying above. :D

BTW, this game was hard to find in the Long Beach (near L.A.) and Irvine, Orange County areas - all the dedicated video game stores (Gamestop, etc) were sold out! I finally found a couple of copies at a Circuit City, and when I got to the register, the cashier said "man, that's an awesome game". Hehe... I thought that was interesting as I wasn't expecting anyone to have a clue about this game. Maybe all this is some kind of indication of soccer getting more popular in the US?

Thanks!

Try not to fill the ''Bar'' all the way up .. don't push the button too hard, that way you can fill the bar just a little or right to the middle, depending on the distance too...it's kinda complicated but it only takes Time and practice. As for the R2 buttons, you only press it during a shot if you want it to be curvy and you got more chance to score.Again,in only depends on the Distance.Good Luck and have Fun with the most amazing Soccer game out there.

The bar is not a power bar, it is a height bar. The power of the shot is determined by the player.
