The biggest surprise this year would have to be the play of FC Kosice. They struggled early in the year because it seemed they tied every game they played.

I doubt anyone can catch Slovan Bratislava. I had the chance to see Trnava play Olomouc in July and Olomouc won 4-0. Trnava didn't look that good, and they recently lost another friendly 5-0 to Olomouc, but I guess that is why they are just friendlies :)

Kosice appear to be in real trouble of being relegated this year. It would be a real shock if they did... With their loss and the Dubnica victory, Kosice are now in last place. :eek:

No surprise that only two Slovak league players were selected. Nice to see Lubos Reiter selected again for the Slovaks.

Huge game tomorrow between the first and second place teams. MSK Zilina needs to win to have a chance of catching Slovan for first place. FC Kosice continue their slide towards the second divison. It would be a shame to see a once proud club dropped to the second division.
