We need the points for obvious reasons, and they need the points for obvious reasons.

I'm TiVoing the game so I can watch it after work, so I'll be back around later tonight to discuss.

well, you can nail the coffin closed on our Champions League hopes.

We really were crap in the first, then looked alot better in the second half, only to give up the two goals. The defending really left something to be desired on both goals.

Ugh.

the only good thing in the first half was the birmingham fan getting chucked out by 4 police officers.but there were plenty of songs about big club and robbie savage.second half we hit the post moments later they scored but savage rubbed it in with his goal but in the last few minutes poor defending cost us. just to rubb it in a bit more it took me ages to get back on the m6 last night traffic jams all other the place

Ahh a Blue Noser who finally has something to cheer for. The season's not over yet, mate, but as much as I hate to say it, I actually hope that Birmingham win their last two games. That'd help us out as they are against Newcastle and Bolton.

Frustrating game, though. We had some really good second half chances and didn't convert them. Birmingham had two second half chances and they converted both.

Really does put us in the mixer for UEFA Cup qualifications. We have a resurgent Newcastle, those pesky Wigan lads and the always dangerous Bolton sniffing at our heels and the way we've played in April, I'm not confident we'll hold on to our 6th place.

Whatever the case, this season has been so much better than I thought it would be at the start. I'm proud of the boys. There's not much to be proud about up in the Birmingham part of the country, now is there?

How badly was Sav being badgered by Brum? I heard that he got into yet another tunnel-tussle post-match. Does anyone have any details? On a side Savage note, he has apparently declared himself the "Welsh David Beckham." Isn't that cute?

He was booed with every touch he had, for the most part.

I hope he isn't serious about that nickname. Shouldn't Beckham try to be the English Robbie Savage? :D

he got booed by there fans but it was what he normally gets at away grounds. i did not see what happened in the tunnel as the away end is on the other side of the stand.

I doubt Davey is man enough... between Posh and Becks we all know who wears the skirt there!
